I'm away to KL this week. The last time I was there was last year and it was only for a day after transiting in from Bangkok. Hope to get more out of it this time.

The 'in things' for 2008
Here are the lists of things, which I think is the “in things” for 2008:
- Own a blog
- Own a digital SLR camera
- Own the latest or stylish car
- Must be online using your mobile phone or pc (MSN)
- Get a 3G SIM card while it’s still free (for the month of May)
- Get a 3G broadband (faster speed)
- Or get espeed for the house
- Go on holidays
- Sign up for Facebook
- Take lots of pictures and post it in Facebook
- Practice your photography skills
- Get at least one free flight from the promo on AirAsia or Malaysia airlines
If you have some more ideas, leave me a message in the saybox. Thanks.

All sorts of event...
I attended various events over the weekend and it really tires me out. But what matters most is that I enjoyed it to the max.
A friend invited me to her dept. family day at OGDC after work on Friday. There were bouncers, games and FREE food! It was fun but I didn't go on the bouncer (it was the biggest bouncer, the titanic). because 1. I'm afraid of height and 2. the after-effect of it (bruise, sick, etc.) Food was great and also free ice-cream from the Mr.Softy's ice-cream truck. It was more like a carnival! It ended beautifully with fireworks.
On Saturday, there was a wedding in church and the bride needed my help with the projector. And my other friend was in-charge of the music. It was a very, very hot Saturday afternoon but nevertheless the wedding was nice and simple. And we were given 'ang-pow' for helping out *grin*
That evening I attended another event. It was a charity dinner to raise fund for the poor and underprivileged in the area. The food was excellent, 8 course of Chinese food *yummy* and also various entertainment mostly dancing. But I can't help feeling sleepy that night after a long series of 'fortunate' events.
On Sunday after church I went to the DST roadshow in KB. And thankfully I brought my niece along with me because I manage to apply for the Student Postpaid Go! Broadband plan. Instead of paying $400++ I only paid half of it. Unfortunately upon arriving home I found out that there isn't any 3G service in my area yet. Called up 151 and let out my frustrations.

I love the new Narnia movie. It was fantastic! The movie lasted almost 2½ hours but my knee hurt after that because of the limited leg space. The cinema is only good for their 'reclining' chairs which can be annoying. Arrived home at midnight and only had few hours of sleep and then back to work on a brand new week.
I'll be away most of the time from now on, will try to update if I can.

The.Weekend.
Finally it's the weekend. The day I've been looking forward to after 5 days of hard work. But it's kinda boring, nothing much to do. Just relaxing in the living room, surfing the internet on my laptop and watching 3 CSI episodes on AXN for the past 4 hours!
I have the option of lazy-ing out like my cat in the pics but I don't usually take 'cat' naps in the afternoon.
*yawn* (fyi, the scars on my hands are cause by those razor sharp teeth)
Zzz... snuggling in her basket. That's all she does, getting more than 8 hours of sleep EVERY day. Lucky her!
Well it's back to work tomorrow, another brand new week, more work, meetings, etc. 51 days to go before my next holiday :) yeahhh
Oh yah, I'll be away for course for a week too :) so double yeahhhh

Mid week. Mid way to go insane.
It's mid week and I'm really dreading for the days to go by quickly. Looking forward to a relax weekend. Maybe catch the new Narnia movie at one of the cinemas in BSB.
So what I've been up to? Been busy with work lately (and for the next 3 months) since I took over my colleague's job who is on maternity leave at the moment.
Some good news to share, my 1-week course in KL has been approved, so KL here I come, unfortunately I'll be going alone, probably my parents will be joining me during the weekend only. Secondly, my 2-weeks leave in July has also been approved and so Sydney here I come!!! Big event happening there and I wouldn't want to miss it! All thanks to the big guy up there...
I received an email at work today and again in my hotmail. Apparently, there was a suicide in Kg. Rimba and about 2 or 3 weeks ago a man jump off the multi-storey carpark in the capital. Both were foreign workers. The contain of the email was a picture of the man hanging from his neck from a pole, could be an electric pole or lamp post. It's so sad to see it. He must be really desperate.
So what else is new? I've not been to bandar since... I forgot when. Oh yah the weather is terribly unpredictable nowadays. It's hot and windy in the morning and it's like a storm (strong wind + heavy rain) at night. I assume the contributing factor to cause this 'crazy' weather is the cyclone that hit Myanmar last week. China was hit by a massive 7.8 earthquake and thousands of people and kids are killed or trapped in fallen buildings. India was hit by terrorist bombing. 8 bombs blew up one after another in a busy market. Oh man...its one disaster after another!!! Pray that nothing will happen to us here or you, wherever you are.

Ok...So I've deleted my previous posts/ blog because I wanted to start something new. So here it is... my new blog titled: A note from the editor. I will try my very best to update this blog dutifully. With the recent introduction of 2 wireless broadband here, I might be getting one of those so I can bring it everywhere with me and update this blog. Being a IT or gadget fan, it's so hard to be apart from the internet hehe
Bear with me from time to time and also I would like to hear from you too.
Till then...adios amigo.
